The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received the delegation led by Matteo Patrone, Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Atom Janjughazyan noted that as a result of cooperation among the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the European Union, the programs implemented in Armenia may contribute to the country's economic development, the key directions of which would be outlined in the Government program.
Matteo Patrone stressed that the Bank is going to elaborate the strategy of activities in Armenia in 2019. He mentioned that the main part of those activities would be implemented in the private sector; in particular, regarding SMEs, renewable energy, energy efficiency and other fields; and some initiatives would be carried out in the public sector, which would be in line with the priorities set by the Government program.
