The study visit of 30 employees of the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of the Netherlands took place at the RA Ministry of Finance. It was aimed at transferring Armenia's experience in tax policy and budgeting. The employees of the RA Ministry of Finance presented Armenia’s tax legislation, reforms implemented, peculiarities and procedures of drafting the budget and mid-term expenditure framework.
The study visit in this format stems from the Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Cooperation signed between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands in 2011, which, among other measures, provides for study visits both in Armenia and in the Netherlands. The Republic of Armenia is a member-state of the Dutch Subgroup of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group.
