On February 2, the regular seminar on "Digitalization and Security Risks of the World" launched at the RA Ministry of Finance, which was held by Sergey Tairyan, candidate of technical sciences, Head of Division N 1 of Information Technologies Security Department of the Ministry Staff. The seminar is taking place three times a week, until March 5.
Taking into account the priorities of the RA Government on the digital transformation of Armenia, the main objective of the seminar organized by the RA Ministry of Finance is to introduce the staff of the Ministry to the possible challenges, internal and external hazards arising from a single digital environment and appropriate means of avoiding them. It also focuses on blockchain technology, its application in different areas, possible impacts, developments and potential risks of cryptocurrency, social engineering and social networks.
In recent years, Armenia has taken important steps in digital transformation and development. In order to increase the efficiency and transparency of the management system in Armenia and improve the business environment, it is essential to create a unified digital environment using the latest technologies. Not only in Armenia but also around the world, the role and significance of the IT sector is important both for the quality and security of the state governance system and for ensuring the development of the economy.
