On July 9, the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received David Yuravlivker, World Bank Senior Adviser.
During the meeting the parties discussed issues related to the joint programs with the World Bank, as well as a number of issues on the improvement of tax policy and administration.
Minister Atom Janjughazyan touched upon the amendments to the tax legislation and noted that they are aimed at effective response to economic developments as well as better performance of the Ministry's public redistribution mission.
Emphasizing the importance of the meeting, David Yuravlivker expressed hope that such a format of collaboration would promote strengthening of cooperative relations.
The sides also referred to the development of infrastructures in Armenia, improvement of the business environment, increasing the efficiency of public administration and a number of other issues.
