On July 4, the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received Sergey Kopirkin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia.
During the meeting, the parties touched upon the strategic approaches of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, as well as within the framework of regional unions and organizations and noted that in this context it is important to take into account both the mutually beneficial collaboration and the peculiarities of each country.
Ambassador Kopirkin emphasized that it is necessary to use the whole potential to develop bilateral relations and informed that the Russian side is ready to provide assistance in the necessary spheres. He noted that positive trends in Armenia's economic development are evident after Armenia's accession to the EAEU, particularly, the growth of export volumes to the EAEU countries.
Atom Janjughazyan highly appreciated the close cooperation with the partners of the Russian Finance Ministry and attached importance to the prospects of its expansion.
