Today Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan hosted students of the Gyumri Branch of Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE).
The students toured the building of the RA Ministry of Finance, got acquainted with the activities of the Ministry, the scope of its powers, working principles and directions.
Minister Khachatryan presented to future economists the main ways and principles of budget revenue generation and funds distribution, spoke about the main functions of the Ministry, as well as answered students' questions.
The meeting was also attended by the heads of structural units of the Ministry, who spoke on the topics of fiscal policy elaboration, state budget planning, and implementation of macroeconomic forecasts.
Such events to raise students' awareness of the activities of the Ministry of Finance will be ongoing from now on.
