Today, a discussion was held on the project of the technical specifications for the electronic procurement system. The session was led by Deputy Minister of Finance Avag Avanesyan, Advisor to the Minister Armen Gevorgyan and Sergey Shahnazaryan, the Head of the Procurement Policy Department at the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, the representatives from government-subordinated bodies and local self-government bodies were in attendance.
The representatives of the Ministry of Finance presented the main goal of the project's implementation in the context of the requirements of the state finance management system reform strategy. The goal is to implement data collection, digitization and integration into various systems. Furthermore, the project aims to automate the mutual cooperation of interested parties.
During the discussion the problems that arose during the operation of the existing procurement system were referred, as well as proposals aimed at eliminating obstacles in the further processes related to the new work tool were made.
