On January 22, a regular session of the Expanded Public Council of Revenue Policy Improvement created by the decree of the Minister of Finance was held at the RA Ministry of Finance. The participants of the session were representatives from the RA Ministry of Finance, NGOs and famous international consulting organizations involved in the Council with advisory capacity.
During the session, a number of suggestions related to the registration review of foreign currency transactions and operations; payment delay because of not publishing the electronic version of tax calculation on the website of tax authority till the last day of the relevant reporting period; considering economic entities as VAT payers as a result of operational intelligence measures, enabling non-commercial organizations to operate in the tax system with turnover tax were discussed.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to continue the discussion of the issues on the agenda in a working order and afterwards to submit proposals for the solution to the problems for the next discussion of the Council.
