The RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan received the director of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Expansion and Neighborhood Department, Lionel Rapaille, and the head of the EIB South Caucasus Regional Office, Maciej Czura.
Welcoming the guests, the minister emphasized that the European Investment Bank is one of the important partners in the implementation of infrastructure projects and highlighted the importance of continuing cooperation with the EIB in a number of directions, particularly in the fields of energy, education, road construction and garbage collection.
European Investment Bank (EIB) are willing to discuss ways to support the resolution of issues arising from the displacement of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The EIB partners, expressed gratitude for effective and constructive interaction, reiterating their readiness to discuss cooperation perspectives on implementing new projects with the Armenian side.
