On November 26-29, within the framework of Public Sector Accounting and Reporting (PULSAR) and Strengthening Auditing and Reporting in the Eastern Partnership (STAREP) programs implemented by the World Bank Centre for Financial Reporting Reform, the Ministerial Conference on High-Quality Financial Information and Economic Integration was organized in Vienna.
The main objective of the Conference is to present the experience of 13 beneficiary countries in the context of the reforms in accounting and audit, promoting better implementation of these reforms through experience exchange.
Within the framework of the Conference, Arman Poghosyan, Acting Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, presented the steps undertaken in Armenia directed to the effective development of the above-mentioned areas, attaching importance to the role of such events especially in terms of application of successful experience of other countries.
