Within the framework of the program "Digital Transformation of Armenia 2018-2030", the RA Acting Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan received the representatives of MAYKOR, a major Russian company in the IT outsourcing market, led by the Executive Vice President of the company Denis Saenko. During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of digital transformation of Armenia.
The representatives of the company presented the areas subject to digitalization within the functions of the Ministry of Finance: budgeting, treasury, public procurement, accounting, public debt management, etc. According to the company's specialists, the objective of the drafting and introduction of the state financial management information system is to increase the effectiveness of financial management of the Armenian government. This involves replacing information systems with one single platform, ensuring changes in business processes during digital transformation and reformation of the financial system, enhancing access to services, increasing transparency and reliability, etc.
After the constructive discussion, Vardan Aramyan expressed readiness to cooperate within the framework of the presented project, to find the directions of common interest and to jointly develop them.
