The main task of the Department is to ensure the full and effective implementation of the powers assigned to the Ministry by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia in the field of organization of the budget process for the real sector of the economy and infrastructural sectors within the scope of powers assigned to the Department, particularly.

1) organization of works in the direction of the programming of medium-term state expenditures of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the development of the project of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for the coming year, and implementation within the scope of the authority assigned to the Department;

2) organization of works in the direction of development of measures ensuring the implementation of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia within the jurisdiction of the Department.

3) submission of recommendations for the development and improvement of the legislation regulating the issues of organization and implementation of the budget process;

4) implementation of economic analyzes within the jurisdiction of the Department.

The functions of the department for the organization of the budget process of economic programs, according to the order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia N 290-L of July 15, 2022 .

The scope of professional knowledge of the department for organizing the budget process of economic programs, according to the order of the Secretary General of the RA Ministry of Finance N 1510-A of October 13, 2023 .
