The main task of the Department is to ensure the full and effective implementation of the powers assigned to the Ministry by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia in the field of organization of the budgetary process for social spheres (hereinafter referred to as the scope of powers assigned to the Department), particularly within its jurisdictions.
1) organization of works in the direction of the programming of medium-term state expenditures of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the development of the project of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for the coming year, and implementation within the jurisdiction of the Department;
2) organization of works in the direction of development of measures ensuring the implementation of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia within the scope of the authority reserved to the Department.
3) submission of recommendations for the development and improvement of the legislation regulating the issues of organization and implementation of the budget process;
4) conducting analyzes within the scope of the authority assigned to the Department.
