The main tasks of the department are:
1) legal provision of full and effective implementation of the powers assigned to the Ministry within its jurisdiction,
2) the implementation of legal proceedings, the protection of state interests in court, in the cases provided for by the legislation,
3) development of drafts of legal acts and presentation of legal conclusions on drafts of legal acts,
4) the development of drafts of legal acts necessary for the implementation of the tasks of the Ministry and verification of their compliance with the provisions of other legal acts with higher legal force, as well as the presentation of legal-expert conclusions on the drafts of legal acts.
